How to connect everything for a button box

Im very new to arduinos and its terminology so I really need help to understand how to connect my stuff

I have x3 rotary encoders x1 arduino uno x4 momentary push buttons (SPST) x1 breadboard and alot of jumper wires

Please read and use this topic: How to get the best out of this forum - Using Arduino / IDE 1.x - Arduino Forum

A link to the datasheet of the rotary encoder will help us a lot.

Hey what is a datasheet?

Is this it ? https://www.jaycar.com.au/arduino-compatible-rotary-encoder-module/p/XC3736?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAqNSsBhAvEiwAn_tmxVNZg0pBrX_oUCDWwcEQIj1GaO9nNIzkInPM6D-45_pxSk9ZNSgNQBoCgTYQAvD_BwE

What you linked to is more of a sales add with some technical information.

Oh sorry I can’t find that

Do you know how i can complete what i want to do though?

Do you know what it is that you aim to build from these parts, and what you want it to do?

I want to make a 3d printed box for a flight simulator and put the components inside it but i dont know how to wire all of them

et yourself a copy of the Arduino Cookbook and skim it front to back and pause on sections you are interested in. By the time you get finished you will be able to answer your question and also why.

Sorry what does et mean and why cant you just draw a diagram of how to?

How would know a diagram was correct for the devices you have?

I would test it?

And if the test fails, blame the diagram?

Sorry idk what im doing i wired a singular one to the arduino and i needed to wire 3 rotary encoders 4 buttons so someone told me to buy a breadboard and here i am+

So wire the new buttons, ONE AT A TIME and test.

But i dont know how to though😭

And i have even less of a clue on how to wire 3 rotary encoders

Not criticizing at all, but have to wonder if you plan to spend your whole life beginning very complex projects with no plan or wish to learn any of the basics? Are you still in school and have begun college work while in grade school? I have two sons and three grandsons and they were never taught this way.
