How to create four high frequency PWM signals with high accuracy?

does prevent any 180° phase shift except for 50% PWM duty cycle. That's why some Phase Correct PWM mode should be used to generate the properly shifted pulses of any duty cycle. The two PWM channels can control two half bridges for generation of the three level output signal.

What about an approach of using a timer-interrupt at desired frequency
example 10 kHz * 10 = 100 kHz
counting from 0 to 99
in combination with direct-port-manipulation
so dutycycle would have a resolution of 1%

So what would be the fastest way to change portbits directly?

setting bit LOW by bitwise AND with all bits 1 except the particular bit set to 0
setting bit HIGH by bitwise OR with all bits 0 and the particular bit set to 1
?

Hopefully these diagrams finally answer your questions. If so, I will edit my original post to include them.

I am now in the process of testing some of the solutions explained by other posters. I will reply with any more questions or if I have achieved my desired solution.
