How to get image from and Android phone PCB on an LCD+Arduino Mega

Hi guys! I wonder if it's possible to get back to life my Android phone without original LCD and original LCD+Touch controllers?
I thought, it could be possible to use some of the popular Arduino's LCDs and an Arduino Mega board to use them to show the image from the phone PCB.

Please advise is this even theoretically possible and if yes, where should I start to achieve this goal?

Yes it is possible.

But not realistic.

Thanks for your reply. What would be the bottle neck or the toughest part of such a project in your opinion? I know it can result more expensive, than buying a new phone, but it doesn't matter for me in this case.
