How to get rainbow colored text on matrix ? is it possible ?

Hi all

Well im getting started really on arduino so ive done a lot of reading trying etc on various project. my last project is a multi rotor with led strips and a matrix.

i would like to know if its possible using neopixel matrix to get rainbow colored text ? here is the code im using its matrixtest slightly modified

Yes it should be.

Do you want the colours to always be in the same position in the character or do you want it to be in the same physical position in the matrix?

Just define your fonts with the colour data built in for the same position in the character, or set different colours in different pixel positions for to be in the same physical position.

Draw out the font definitions for a few characters and it should all fall into place.
