How to integrate power supply to this

I have this setup and I need more power to go to the motors. because the Cable is not producing enough from the Arduino Uno. Where can I put the power supply in this breadboard. Can I just attach a power supply to the positive and negative to the breadboard. Or would that over heat the board?

joke aside, do yourself a favour and please read How to get the best out of this forum and post accordingly (including code with code tags and necessary documentation for your ask like your exact circuit and power supply, links to components etc).

Yea I should have been more specific thank you for the link and I just edited it to make more sense lol

You should not power the motors directly from the 5V pin of your arduino for sure.

Depending on how much current the motors will draw, you might need to attach the power supply directly to the motor drivers rather than go through the breadboard (quality vary, I would not have more than 1A / 5V going through my breadboard)

That sounds correct. I do not have the same boards as in the picture, can you post an annotated schematic showing exactly how you wired it.
