You don't need a microphone to play MP3 files.

i mean speaker to hear the mp3 files

You'd need an amplifier to drive a speaker - that module has only enough output power for headphones/earpieces. Perhaps hook it up to an LM386 module?

DFPlayer has a speaker output - you can find it on ali express.
I have used this mp3 player in several projects and it worked pretty well.
It has two outputs: one for headphones and one for speaker.
The speaker output is OK for playing in quiet environment (but it does not have "disco power").
You can find a tutorial for this player here: DFPlayer Mini Mp3 Player - DFRobot Wiki

hi
1- what is the difference between DFPlayer AND YX5300-UART
2- is that good ? link

3- what do you mean? this sound is good for player for baby? do you have any examples for the level of voice of this product?

thanks

  1. The YX5300 has output for headphone only. I have used this board when headphone output was needed only.
DFPlayer has outputs for headphone AND speaker. I have used this board when speaker output was needed. The speaker output is OK for playing in quiet environment. It is like the speaker output of a tablet or laptop. If you need to play loud sound you should use an audio amplifier.

I am sure, there may be other differences but for my needs this is the most relevant one.

  1. This is a DFPlayer. Looks like the players i have used with success.

  2. The sound level depends very much on the speaker you use and on the enclosure you put it in.
To get an idea of the sound level search on youtube for DFPlayer.
