i know theres like uncountable amounts in google but nearly all of them is different, i have a on-on switch with 3 pins (i dont know the exact model but its a spdt)
In order for someone to be able to make an intelligent answer, they need to know what you want to do with your switch! You must have had some reason to get a spdt switch.
esc motor on/off
Are you switching power to the ESC or an input signal to Arduino?
arduino input
Are you selecting either of two signals to connect to one Arduino pin?
1 in on 1 is off so 1 signal ig?
Sorry, English is much better to communicate with on this forum.
sorry mb i meant
"1 is on, 1 is off so 1 signal i guess"
So just using the switch as an on-off switch. Why are you wanting the turn the signal on and off?
dude i dont understand any of these i just need the wiring. i need to make this a normal switch like why need this much questions
so theres info in group :
switch is going to be connected to arduino
switch is on-on but i need to make it on-off
What do you get if you DO NOT connect anything to the other “on”side?
what is the pins? like which is 5v, which is gnd and which is d(number) or a(number)
Make a drawing on paper for what you want to do.
Until you tell us what you want the switch to do, there is no way to tell you how to wire it.
i said that. toggle switch for my esc
Where is your esc in the drawing you posted?
dude. is there any fricking thing with esc? i need wiring stop questioning me like higuruma LIKE THERES 3 PINS?! JUST TELL ME THE WIRING. LIKE FIRST PIN GOES TO A3 ETC.
The way you show the switch is it will short the Arduino when you switch it down. This can fry your Arduino in short order. Simple trick, draw a line through the lever and the pin it goes to is the pin that will be connected to the center terminal. You only need two connections to make it work. It makes a difference if it is power or signals you are switching.
Others have asked, what do you want the switch to do? See @Paul_KD7HB @JCA34F
