So basically I have a project that uses four servo motors that each need 5V and some amount of current. Well, I accidentally mixed up the positive and ground on two of the servo motors, and now those two servo motors will not work. The other two are still working as intended. Are these servo motors destroyed or is there a way to "reset" them and to get them to work properly again? They were all working well up to this point.
The motors are most likely ok, but the control electronics are dead. Open them up and see if you can power the motor directly. The motor may be useful in some future project.

As suggested you can "reset" then by replacing the damadged electronics.
Reversing the power destroys a lot of stuff.
Thanks for helping me to identify the issue guys. Guess I will be replacing these servos lol.
If you use servos quite a bit, its worth sticking to one type if possible.
Then at least when you do fry one you have a spare cable, motor, case and gears.
In RC models if you hit hard enough whatever is connected to the servo arm it can strip the gears so of course you need to replace them.

Is the Arduino forum becoming the new 4chan?
