How to use DY50 fingerprint sensor on WEMOS D1 ?

i need help about how to use DY50 fingerprint sensor on WEMOS D1.

Similar to how you would interface it to the Arduino Uno.

it work on arduino uno, but when i do it on wemos d1 it does not. the serial monitor says "did not find fingerprint sensor".

It appears to be a 3.3V device. So not even voltage differences to worry about.

Please post schematic of your wiring and your sketch.

The Adafruit page you link to shows the sensor is rated 3.6-6.0V.

Your WeMOS provides 3.3V, which is below the rated voltage. Try it with a 5V Arduino instead. If interfacing with the WeMOS you need to supply 5V to the sensor and use level shifters on the Tx/Rx lines.

thanks a lot wvmarle
