HX711 : First read value is negative and other questions

Hello

Stating to use the HX711 weigh sensor

Is t normal that the first value -27979 read by the module is a negative one ? The value do increase positively with a weigh on the scale. See below a snap capture

I'm using the HX711_Full_Example code.

Any info appreciated

I would start with the tare, if the scale stays negativ until weight is added that is the most likely culprit.
