Before that, please ensure the topic is correct, you are using Arduino IDE 2.3.4 so the topic should be IDE 2.x. This is so you get the correct help.
What's inside this lib directory? How did you install it?

Where did you get the library from? I did download GitHub - simondlevy/PS2X_lib: Arduino Playstation2 library with compiler warnings fixed and installed without issue.
