Why is this stuff not in the intro material that discobot gives us when we join.
With all the stuff that discobot goes through, this should absolutely be part of it.
In that section where it goes through Links and Quotes and adding an emoji and creating a survey.
I think that tutorial is the standard discourse tutorial.
Ask Discourse why they did it that way?

I can't remember what is included, but when writing any tutorial you have to leave stuff out, otherwise it goes on forever.

It's literally impossible for us to add all the numerous features we implement with each release to the initial and advanced tutorials, as Discourse is a rapidly developing software.
Please note that Discobot's interactive tutorials were created specifically for new users and are the same for all types of sites, both technical and non-technical. Therefore, only the basic functions that are generally always active and not optional have been added to them. The fast edit feature can be disabled from the site's settings.
That said, it's possible to disable Discobot's interactive tutorials in favor of a more classic guide that is completely customizable. However, please note that the interactive tutorials were created to encourage new users, who are typically reluctant to read walls of text when they first visit a site, to at least learn the basics of how the site works.
Regarding the fast edit feature in particular, if the site's staff deems it necessary, they can simply add it as additional information at any point in one of the tutorials. While the triggers that initiate the various tutorial replies cannot be modified locally, the text of Discobot's responses can be edited as desired.
