I dont see how to use a relay in a circuit

I can turn the relay on/off there are three screws at the front, no, c, nc . Im just not sure how to go about using the switch. The relay provides no power itself. I have seen a relay board whose 4 relays were connected to a power supply so that the relays themselves provided power and that would be easy to use. At least I think that was how it worked. Understanding the workings of the relay itself is not the problem. that's all I get on youtube when I try to see how to use a relay.

I just need a simple diagram showing how the relay fits into the circuit to turn on a motor or a LED , PLEASE ?

Either of these should help:

edit: Relays don't provide power, they switch power that has to be provided from outside.
