Hi everyone,
I am new to the microcontroller domain.
I am part of a cycling club where we have an LED vest kind of thing (RGB), which is currently lit by a pre-set mechanism. The group is led by the captain, who will play music ( mostly retro English). As part of bringing in more people for the rides, I am planning to overhaul the LED vests, in which all will react to the music and will light up accordingly. There will be 7-8 Vests, which are independent of each other at the moment. Is it possible to bring all of them in a more centralised way in which it will change the light pattern based on the signal sent from the lead rider?
I really appreciate your help
Thanks in advance
You have to use a VU-meter IC. Something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKNH8-VMNO4
There is a lot on the web about this, just look up "DIY color organ leds" Have fun and ride safe!
