I'm aware of the trucking and the US, Canada, and Mexico have some sort of treaty that affects that which I suppose Trump could arbitrarily fool with. Emphasis on fool.

Most of what I used to buy from China/HK/eBay came through Canada! I miss DIP Micro in Niagara Falls as well.

I have withdrawn my witholding. I acted in haste after being bombarded by the orange one about Canada becoming the 51st state. Besides I like your doggy picture, here is my Blaze who crossed the rainbow bridge 2020
He already re-wrote NAFTA (North America Free Trade Agreement), but then some idiot in Canada was bragging we got a good deal, so, of course, Trump wants to renegotiate it again even though there is a (new) automatic renegotiation in 2026. Of course, now he is breaking the treaty by doing tariffs. Wait until everyone sees what happens to the price of cars. if you don't know, the Canadian and US both have huge car plants on the border, and parts go back and forth hourly. If each crossing is a 25% price increase (some cross over 20 times) just imagine the final cost!

I know every generation gets to say it, but this does really feel like the end. I'm young compared to, well, you older ppl. Still old enough to be hopeful my end will come before the end.

It is very difficult not to think it is the end.
Who, for instance, would have predicted an American president would side with the Russian dictator? Do you think the orange one will lift a finger when Putin decides to take the 3 Baltic states, then Poland? He already has Belarus effectively. Moldova and Romania will be next.
So no tariff. Shrimp enchiladas with a smokey tomatillo sauce, mushrooms and jack cheese. Gulf of Mexico shrimp guaranteed to have been harvested beyond the 12 mile limit. No guac but it may be too early to see a price increase. Tequila may go up but because there is already a federal tax on spirits maybe it will be exempt.
Sounds delicious. Sadly, I have been banned from DBWS, which has a Canadian sys admin. No warning, just banned. Now, I am really conflicted; my free speech rights are better in the USA than in Canada. I need to think on that.
That's a pity. I don't yet feel that my 1st Amendment right is in any danger but that could change. I guess that's what the 2nd Amendment is for.
