He can do a lot of damage between now and November, many of us in Canada are making adjustments for an invasion. Our 'war' department is organizing a 300,000 man/woman volunteer support corp. NO combat roles, just cyber, support, drone operators.

@dougp I think we all agree good riddance to Maduro but the way things are being done are not acceptable in a democracy, and is yet to be seen just how much the Venezualans actually benefit compared to the oil companies.

This is just FYI. What I hope to accomplish is show you how serious we Canadians take the threats from the USA. We are 1/10 your size by population and a lot less militarily, but we have friends and are famous for punching well above our weight. As for the economic war, educate yourself; we are winning big.

I got news for you, a republican will win the next presidential election. They have lot's of practice in rigging the process now. It only takes a handful of counties to hold the balance of power, that is easy to do. Experts I respect have shown me how he rigged the 2024 election and I see nothing to prevent the same thing in 2028.
I hope you're wrong. From my point of view, no rigging was necessary to win the 2024 election as the Democrats made a serious error not reacting to Biden's condition earlier. Time will tell if a viable candidate emerges for 2028 but the election is winnable.
I hope so, too, but the news about young men moving to the right is concerning. Keep in mind there is also a strong religious aspect to all this and they will vote for Hitler himself if he can maintain the abortion ban. This is why there is supposed to be a separation of church and state.
