I am using a Raspberry Pi 4 with the latest OS Sept 2022.
Downloaded both the image and Zip files on RPi.
Unzipped the file.
Tried the ./arduino-ide in the unzipped directory and bash complained.
The Appimage file will not even start - just request Execute and then nothing.
HELP!
What is it that I have done wrong - none of the installation references are complete enough to make this work.
Hi @cnw4rwb. Currently Arduino does not distribute builds of Arduino IDE 2.x for the Linux ARM architecture of your Raspberry Pi. This means that the downloads available on the official "Software" page are expected to not work on the Raspberry Pi. They must be used on an x86 computer.
