Hi,
I looked at the Arduino icon's properties and noticed a considerable
difference between the path as stated there and the actual one to the
Arduino IDE. So what has happended, I don't know. I am suffering from
a lack of knowing just how W10 works and of loading too much software
- one of which may have caused my troubles. Therefore what I intend to
do is to backup my C: drive, clear it out and then reload W10 (or
possibly load W11 if my old 3.2GHz Pentium will go the distance).
So thanks for everything. BTW, I'm 86, a long-retired radio engineer
and while I still have reasonable eyesight I notice a tendency for new
software to use rather small icons across the top with no option to
move it to the bottom or change the font's size or colour. So if you
are part of the software team, please keep this in mind.
Thanks - Joe.
P.S. I was hoping to see how far I could push a 16MHz Arduino (Mega
2560) with DSP type samplers and filters and was also wishing to have
a look at your new 'debugger' but now I will have to go back to STM's
Cube IDE for that. I used to program PICs some years back but their
development boards have been residing in my cupboards now for many a
day.
