IDE is not working with Catalina 10.15.3

Hello

I'm trying to use Arduino IDE on Catalina MacOS. I can launch it but it crashed systematically after few seconds.

I tried with last version 1.8.12, with last beta version and also the two previous versions (like it is explained here => [MERGED] Unable to use IDE on Mac Catalina :( - Installation & Troubleshooting - Arduino Forum) But, they are all crashing every time...

Any solution/idea to use it on Catalina MacOS?

I read and I tried already this option but it is not working for me.

1.8.10 is not working on my system...

Please provide a detailed description of what you mean by "1.8.10 is not working on my system".

So sorry, I downloaded 1.8.11 by inadvertance... This '11' version is like completely unsupported by Catalina, cannot be launched at all.

1.8.10 is ok with Catalina MacOS.

In my opinion, we cannot let the 1.8.12 as a release version for Catalina... Or add somewhere on the download page that it is not ok for Catalina and advise to download the 1.8.10. The website mentions: ARDUINO 1.8.12 => Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion or newer (but it's completely false). It will avoid new messages like mine :wink:

I had issues with this and apparently it's related to switching between the integrated and more powerful GPU. I got around the crashes by using a tiny tool from https://gfx.io that prevents the switching. Might be a useful tip to others having similar problems.
