Immediate help please

Im a student with only little knowledge in coding... I am in desperate need of help in coding this rs485 sensor. Please I need the help of an expert... I need this for a project asap and Im in summary screwed if this doesnt work so please help. This is an RS485 npk temp humidity ph sensor and I am using an Arduino Uno.
Those are the address stuff... I dont understand them much so please help me

Here are the other stuff as well

Welcome to the forum

When is our assignment due to be handed in ?

How is the sensor connected to the Uno ?

Please post your sketch, using code tags when you do. This prevents parts of it being interpreted as HTML coding and makes it easier to copy for examination

In my experience the easiest way to tidy up the code and add the code tags is as follows
Start by tidying up your code by using Tools/Auto Format in the IDE to make it easier to read. Then use Edit/Copy for Forum and paste what was copied in a new reply. Code tags will have been added to the code to make it easy to read in the forum thus making it easier to provide help.

I really need help right now... Anyone please... I can't understand it....

Oh hello! My wiring is currently like this.... Sensor: yellow to A of Modbus, blue to B of modbus, black to ground of breadboard, and brown to 5v of the uno. Modbus RO and DI to digital pins 2 and 3 respectively. Then DE and RE to 7 and 8. Modbus ground is on breadboard ground. Then VCC is on uno's 5v.

As of the codes I'm really unfamiliar... So I havent made any sketches at all as I am incapable of really doing much.. Sorry

A schematic, even a photo of a hand drawn circuit would be more helpful

Then why are you attempting this project ?

For more context, what Im doing is for a research project. Which we have to present in a conference of some sort

I know I'm really being pathetic right now. But it is kind of a requirement for me in order to pass in summary

That datasheet is a great place to start.

How does your setup and issues differ from the system in this thread?

I tried multiple codes including the one you forwarded. I can't comprehend much of the addresses and stuff so that's honestly my problem. I can't decipher which parts do I have to adjust in accordance to the specifications of my device

Here's the schematic ig

I actually placed the translator on top of the breadboard

I just mainly need help in terms of how do I get the data from the sensor. I understand that there is some form of addressing between master and slave. But I don't know how to interpret and use the addresses on the data sheet as such. So I would really appreciate it if someone elaborates it to me and maybe give an example of how I would do such. Thanks y'all

If

... isn't helpful, I don't think I could elaborate on it any clearer than that writeup, explanation, and example.

Good luck!

Will you get your diploma in my name if I help?

There are many discussions around using an NPK sensor in these forums. A simple search for NPK should bring up several that are using an UNO and an RS-485 module and include wiring diagrams and software.

Note that most use 9600 baud. Your first photo says to use 4800 baud so you would need to edit the code you use accordingly.

'research', so will you name the real authors, i.e. the volunteers who did your work when you present?

Anyone who would be involved in it as such the coding will definitely be acknowledge in the final output of our research being the paper. Although I am not sure in the presentation as it would only mention mostly the results. But I will make a way to mention the contributors in coding it as it would be well deserved by them

Thanks bro
