Hello everyone.
We bought a small sailing boat last winter and we are looking to get everything ready for the summer.
One thing we wand is a depth meter bud these a commercial quad expensive.
Is there someone who ever interfased with a Arduino and an transducer like this:
Or does someone know a beter way to measure the water depth.
Thanks for your time.
Greetings,
Sander
I have one of those cheap fishfinders, and it works quite well as a depth indicator. It does go through batteries quickly.
There is no way to interface it with an Arduino.
Thank you for your response.
I actually meant interfacing directly with the transducer without the display.
The transducer requires 200 VAC and highly specialized circuitry to be useful. The display is the least important part of the gizmo.
