IR remote a light?

Hello, I bought this light used at a second hand store my friend works there and I wanted to check him out there and make fun of him. Well becuase hes my friend and I can. LOL

The light I found there is a non addressable RGB led with a IR receiver on it. No remote. I wonder if there is a way to figure out what code to change colors or turn it off and on. I'm attaching images of the light to see if the community can help me out please to figure this out to where I can start at? one Thing I looked over there is a micro processor on it with no writing on it. Not sure hat to really do I need help.

Have you powered it up to see if there are sparks or smoke?

@Paul_KD7HB Looked it over all good. It's only 5v DC. I powered it up and all 3 RGB colors came on to made an off hite color.

@jremington It's a 3 pin that I see in a lot of other devices.

IR, not RF. You will need to know the IR codes to change the colors.

Remove the IR receiver and place it in a circuit. Test with numerous IR protocols.
