Ir Remote replacement

Hey there! I am kinda new to Arduino, but seem to be doing fine until now. So I lost the remote for my Zenith tv its 4-6 years old I am guessing. I am trying to turn of the eco mode because it pops up randomly and blocks 1/3 of the screen. I might be getting rid of the tv soon in a remodel but would like to solve the problem before then. So I was trying to make a remote with an arduino. I have a keypad for the buttons, a Ir transmitter and Receiver module and a Arduino Uno.

Buy an "universal TV remote" , it is a way easily than to make your own one.
