Is there any difference between this two SIM808 modules

Hello guys,

I am pretty new on electronics and my question may sounds stupid, but I would like to help me understand the difference between this two SIM808 modules.

I am trying to make a personal item (car, suitcase, etc) anti-thief trucker (GPS) that will understand when there is none of the authenticated persons around and sends alarms to a server (GPRS).

Both trucking and authentication would be available through a mobile application (Bluetooth).

If you now any better solution than SIM808 that provides this 3 communication types I am open to your advises.

*note that I am a programmer so I can figure out how to program the apps, the server and the Arduino board.

Have a look at the data sheets of the respective breakout boards.
That failing, look at the schematics.
That failing, look at the detailed specifications.
That failing, just get one of each and try them out.

Yes, one is on a blue board and the other is on a green board.

The blue board looks bigger than the green board by respective size of the SIM808 chip on each.

Without seeing reverse side of each board can’t even verify one has a SD reader vs the other.

Not a bad idea for a project though, stay happy as long as you can see a certain Bluetooth connection, then be scared if connection is not present, then scream if your moved while your scared.
