Hi gang,
So I was hoping to control my Arduino project with a key fob like the ones they use for car remotes. I asked in a couple of forums, but didn't seem to get much response on that topic. In searching around, I came across an item that completely suits my needs, and I thought I would share my discovery with the group.
Includes:
- Key fob with 4 buttons
- Arduino-compatible receiver
Features:
- Buttons are non-latching (signal is transmitted continuously while, and only while, button is pressed)
- All buttons can be pressed at the same time (you might need to add some code to filter for this. I did)
- Range is 150m
- Uses 355MHz for communication.
You can find it here.
Hopefully, you will find it helpful.
Cheers.
