LCD Cant Write "O" and "o"

How come both lcd works on Uno3?
And only 1 works on Uno?
(is UNO even arduino i dont see arduino writing anywhere, or is it some sort of copy? Could this be the cause?)

It's definitely a clone.
Test the/those outputs (high, low).
