Hi, I am looking for a solution to dim a 12 Volts ledstrip, it draws 1,5 Amp. Controlled by an Arduino. If someone can point me to a schematic or otherwise a ready-made driver. I need good quality; no flickering.... Thanks, Robert
If this is an non-addressable LED strip, Gammon Forum : Electronics : Microprocessors : Driving motors, lights, etc. from an Arduino output pin might get you on the way.
You can replace the motor by the LED strip and omit the flyback diode D1.
Such as the schematics on this page?
Hey thanks a lot I saw different ways of using a mosfet on the internet. Will have to dive into it, but this is a great start. Groeten, Robert
Great, thanks a lot. These 2 suggestions will keep me busy for a while.
All the information and tutorials given so far are great but choosing the correct MOSFET from what you can actually buy may be confusing.
If you are using a 3.3V Arduino, you may need additional circuits.
