My film transfer machine uses a LED/Sensor to trigger the camera to record the frame image from the film.
The manufacturer has gone out of business and I need to know the specifications of the LED and sensor so I can try to find a source for replacements.
Welcome! My oil indicator does not light, what LED do I use? You might try a purple one. Without more information this is about the best you will get unless somebody happens to be familiar with it. Things like make, model, color of LED if known. Schematic if you can get one. Your pictures are useless they show nothing. How do you know which part is bad? How did you determine that?
The LED light color is purple but I have no way of knowing about the sensor.
The bag says "UV LED", which is a common part.
5mm is a common size too.
The sensor is a photodiode, or maybe a phototransistor.
They are broad spectrum, but some are slightly more sensitive to UV light (~400nm).
Those parts are cheap as chips, so buy a few types.
Leo..
Thank you..I will do that!
