Library for Dallas 18B20 onewire sensor, on MKR 1010 wifi

Hi everyone!

Library for Dallas 18B20 onewire sensor, is there a Library that works with the MKR 1010wifi?

Many thanks,
Peter Ljungqvist

If the MKR1010 is an Arduino, surely the Dallas Temperature library should work with it.

I've deleted your other cross post @plq1.

Cross posting is against the rules of the forum. The reason is that duplicate posts can waste the time of the people trying to help. Someone might spend 15 minutes writing a detailed answer on this thread, without knowing that someone else already did the same in the other thread.

Repeated cross posting will result in a suspension from the forum.

In the future, please take some time to pick the forum section that best suits the topic of your question and then only post once to that forum section. This is basic forum etiquette, as explained in the sticky "How to use this forum - please read." post you will find at the top of every forum section. It contains a lot of other useful information. Please read it.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Censorship takes many forms.

Both the 18B20 library and the onewire library as available are faulty (I could have included some of the errors, and corrections), but as a first measure I inquired if there was anyone that had successfully used them.

And censorship has never produced good results. In fact it is the only certain way to make project fail.

I will simply use a different technology, where constructive dialog is encouraged.

The position taken by you better than anything, illustrates the dire status of Arduino.

But then Mussolini was Italian, and he did not like criticism either, did he?

Goodbye,
Peter Ljungqvist

Well, I think it's unfair for you to call what I did "censorship". I have thousands of posts to moderate and at a glance your posts appear to be almost identical. I do see that in one you mention that you're using the 18B20, while in the other you only mention onewire, so I suppose I may have erred in considering them to be cross posts. I've gone ahead and restored your other thread.

You can do your part to foster constructive dialog by being a bit understanding that not everything is an evil plot by the fascist dictators. Sometimes people just make honest mistakes. That's part of being human.

Jeez, Pert, I don't think you should have bothered.
