Looking for Accurate IMU with Low Drift

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for an IMU with a good accelerometer (low drift and noise) at a fair price. I’m considering BNO085 and MPU9250, but I’m open to other options if they’re cheaper or similar in price.

The goal is to create an AR navigation system based on a pre-recorded route with waypoints, so accuracy is important.

Any suggestions or advice would be great!

Thanks!

The obsolete, long discontinued IMUs you are considering are not "low drift and noise". Modern replacements are significantly better, but more expensive.

To compare IMU sensors, consult the data sheets.

Any new IMU sensors you would recommend?

The market is competitive, so the new ones are all about the same. Adafruit, Sparkfun and others have well designed breakouts and Arduino libraries.
