I made a game timer that uses 95 decibel buzzers. However the players will be up to 100 metres away from the timer and cannot hear it when about 70 metres away.
Can anyone recommend a really loud buzzer to use with a 12v battery or if a better battery is needed for what you suggest, any recommendations?

Take a look at fire alarm bells, they get loud. The ones I am familiar need 24VDC but a boost converter or a 24V battery would solve that. Cannot pick the battery until the buzzer is selected. Is there ambient noise to consider? That is further then a football field. Could you could possibly use an air horn.
If I was to get a better battery for that any recommendations?
The ‘original’ SONALERT buzzers from the 1970s were extremely loud.
Similar modern industrial solid state buzzers and fire alerts are pretty damn loud !
Loud enough that you may have a requirement for hearing protection with sustained exposure at a nearby distance.
