There are soma magic tricks which require electronics. For example to break a wine glass, you need to hit it hard with a wire. (Example: Glass Breaking Table and Aluminium Case Magic Table Combination Trick - YouTube).
Many application require to make a motor activate very fast in a short time, in some appications even back and forth (Like a slap motion).
Suggestions in ways to achieve this? Thanks
It's easy to switch a motor on/off; depending on the motor and the load they can start up very quickly as well.
Maybe you're better off with a solenoid, but the noise may be an issue.
Shooting a bb may also break the glass.
It is hard to break a glass with a wire. If you look at your video there appears to be a ball bearing attached to the wire, so the wire retracts quickly and the ball breaks the glass.
The obvious thing to use is a spring because you can use a very small trigger to release a lot of force. The trigger could be mechanical or electrical.
You have not given an example of the "slap" motion so it is hard to know what is required for that.
