Magnetometer sensor calibration

Hi,

Does the QMC5883L magnetometer sensor need to be calibrated each time it
is used? And if not, how often should it be calibrated?

The calibration constants should be calculated with the sensor in its final mounting, and applied to every reading. The sensor needs to be recalibrated if the environment changes.
