making a voice project with arduino

hello
i want to do a project and need help. i want to sample few sentences that will be store in the arduino. the idea is to have a conversation with the arduino. so every time i finish saying something the aurdino will answer back. so i need also to set a threshold that only after i finish talking the ardunio will answer. i want the arduino to answer randomly from the few sentences that it has on the memory so i dont care about speech recognition. anyone can help please?
