MFRC5122 RFID Reader Help!

I bought This RFID reader http://www.ebay.com/itm/161135300790?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 and Im trying to integrate it into a project Im doing. All i really need from the RFID reader is a bare read out of the RFID tags and cards. Im using the library from GitHub - miguelbalboa/rfid: Arduino RFID Library for MFRC522 and everything is working well when i upload the dump code sketch and im getting readings from my Arduino.

All i need is the Card UID. Is there a way i can get bare 55 68 F1 B0 as a data type?

Hi there! I happened to have been working with the same RFID reader this morning, also for the first time.

Keep in mind, as long as the tag is close enough to the reader, it will keep reading the tag over and over again, so you need to put in some kind of delay or a watch to see if a card has been read and processed.

I wanted to get the same thing you needed, here’s what I did:
