MG996R servo motor cant move & Nano board cant power

Hi I am currently try to do a project where i saw from arduino page and I found out that my motors cant work. I used 9v battery to power 5 MG996R servo motor. Yet, my nano board didnt light up and one of the servo motor only work for couple second. The below attachment is how I connect my nano board with MG996R servo motor.

You mention 9v in your post.
Your image does not show 9v.
What is the voltage of your battery?
What is the operating voltage of your servos?

MG996R servos are rated for 4.8-7.2V so I don't know why anyone would try to run them on 9V.

They also need quite a lot of current, around 1.2A EACH at peak, so a little 9V smoke alarm battery has no chance of running even one of them never mind 5. Try 6 x 1.2V NiMH rechargeable batteries and you might have at least a chance of them doing something.

A whole couple of seconds? Pretty good going for PP3.

Small PP3-size 9V batteries are for low current only, not relays, motors, servos, GSM, LED strips, or anything needing more than 50 to 100mA.

For all those Servos only LiPo, L-Ion, SLA, or a chunky NiMH pack is appropriate.
