MKR - External Power

Hello,

I'm sorry if this topic has already been solved but i wasn't able to find any clear answer in this forum.

For programming & debugging i connected my MKR 1010 to all my motor controllers and sensors and powered the arduino via usb. Everything worked fine

Later I wanted to use Step Down Converters to Power the Arduino and all other Components with 5 V. However nothing works and the CHRG led on the board starts to flash constantly.

Should I be worried that the Arduino might get damaged? Does anyone now any reason why my program does not work after switching to Vin? (5v pin output of arduino gets deconnected, everything else stays the same, all grounds are connected)

Thank you!

I have the exact problem! Have you been able to solve it??

Well more or less.

I just connected the GND pin of the Arduino with all other GNDs at a different location of the breadboard
(of course all GND pins were also connected before)

So obviously there had to be some problems with my grounds
