The Plug and Make Kit comes with an Arduino Uno R4 WiFi, a baseplate, and seven Modulino sensors/actuators.
The baseplate has a matrix of holes to mount the sensors/actuators on.
However there is not enough room to comfortably mount and connect all seven at the same time.
I know that if I have loose Modulinos lying around that they will get lost.
I decided to modify the baseplate, by adding additional mounting holes in the blank areas either side of the Arduino Uno R4 WiFi, so that all seven modulinos can be attached and connected at the same time.
The holes have a 16mm spacing, and the white lines on the baseplate make it easy to mark out the position of the new holes.
I added six more holes to the right of the uno, and five to the left (the cut out on the left hand side of the board coincides with where a sixth hole would have fallen).
I drilled the holes with a 3.5mm drill, so that they would be clearance holes for the M3 screws. I countersunk them very slightly on both sides of the board.
With the extra holes it is now possible to mount and connect all seven of the modulinos with ease.
I hope this idea might be useful for anyone else who wants to have all seven modulinos mounted at the same time, or even for Arduino Modulino Baseplate R2.
