Uno is way too big for my application.
this is why i came here to ask the guys if there are other good shields for pro mini instead of the discontinued Sparkfun one from my original post.

i have never really heard of a "shield" for the ProMini - it sounds like what you want is a module that has pinouts in the same sequence as that on a ProMini - just make your own !
yes thats right but i like 20pcs so am looking for something that already exists for purchase.
not into making my own this time around.
