Motor Voltage & Current With Sparkfun ACS712 & Adafruit INA219 Current Sensors

I'm trying to measure how the voltage across and the current through a motor vary with different amounts of mechanical load (physically stopping or slowing the motor's spinning, etc). I'm having a really hard time getting voltage and current measurements of any quality.

Before jumping into the details of the project, has anyone tried this? Specifically, has anyone tried it with the Sparkfun ACS712 and/or Adafruit INA219 current sensors?

Thanks

I'd like to modify my question. What would be the most straight-forward way to measure current and voltage in a motor circuit using Arduino?

i have experance using the ACS712, that is a realy good module and easy to use.

Did you have any luck yet? Otherwise have a look at this youtube video. Helped me quite a bit when i was struggling with an ACS712.
