I wish to increase touch inputs for my capacitive touch music project, I have never multiplexed inputs before, but I have ordered 74HCT4051 , 74HC4067 and 74HC165 as possible options for this.
Please someone help me multiplex touch inputs, any info , guide will be helpful.
I have pin 2 as send pin and pin 3 as receive (sensor) pin. Between them is 20Mohm to get a 6 digit sensor number.
What capacitive sensors are you using. Simple home made ones ?

Is it even possible to multiplex capacitive sensors?
Touch panels/screens are multiplexed capacitive sensors. For that purpose I assume that the sensors must form a grid, with cells of equal capacity.
