My hc-05 isn't working

Hello
i have a little problem here.
I am using HC 05 for my final year project.
However i can't connect my HC 05 with my smartphone
when i try connect it through bluetooth
it didn't pop out any pin password

#include <SoftwareSerial.h>

SoftwareSerial BTSerial(10, 11); // RX | TX

void setup() {
pinMode(9, OUTPUT); /* this pin will pull the HC-05 pin 34 (KEY pin) HIGH to switch module to AT mode */
digitalWrite(9, HIGH);

Serial.begin(38400);
Serial.println("Enter AT Commands:");
BTSerial.begin(38400); // HC-05 default speed in AT command mode
}

void loop() {

//The code below allows for commands and messages to be sent from COMPUTER (serial monitor) -> HC-05
if (Serial.available()) // Keep reading from Arduino Serial Monitor
BTSerial.write(Serial.read()); // and send to HC-05

//The code below allows for commands and messages to be sent from HC-05 -> COMPUTER (serial monitor)
if (BTSerial.available()) // Keep reading from HC-05 and send to Arduino
Serial.write(BTSerial.read()); // Serial Monitor
}

I also try to AT+ORGL command and it give OK as respond
But there's still no pin pairing and i can't connect it with my smarphone
Please help me

All you need is power to the HC-05 to pair with your phone. What do you observe when pairing? Show a wiring diagram, also.

+1

Forget about the Arduino/code for now, and only connect the HC-05 to 5volt/GND.
You should be able to pair with only those two wires connected.

I seem to have read that Apple smart phones don't like certain BT devices.
Leo..

Apple smart phones don't like certain BT devices.

Correct - they do not do with SPP / HC-05s (or '06s) - only BLE.

it's not showing any pin password " 0000 or 1234 " whenever i try to connect it with my device ( phone )
