My IDE 2.0.3 has only settings not preferences and in preferences it does not have the option I need to upload ESP32?? anyone know why, cheers in advance
Can you explain on a little more detail. E.g is your preferences screen empty or can't you find the file? And more details that you can think of.

Mac under arduino ide has 'Settings' when you click in it says perferences but looks nothimg like the old Arduino preferences
