Why do they assume ALL Discord forums want the same thing.
Roll it back to the last version then until they can justify a change.
Its wasn't BROKE, so don't fiddle with it.
Programmers are not GOD, they serve the Discord users.
Not directly relevant to Arduino Forum since I already found a way to add back the "My Posts" menu item, but since the discussion here also covered the development work on Discourse I'll add an update: The Discourse developers are now working to make it easier (the solution I found was fairly obscure and unintuitive) for forum administrators to configure the sidebar to include the "My Posts" menu item if they feel that having such a menu item is the right choice for their forum (as we do here):
Just when you think it's all over... and now "My Posts" is having an identity crisis. I think the Discourse gremlins have been burning the midnight oil again.
With Activity -> All selected, "My Drafts" rather than "My Posts" is marked active in the sidebar.
In response to the user feedback about the change to the sidebar menu (discourse/discourse#30277), the Discourse developers reverted discourse/discourse#30277:
The new strangeness you noticed in the sidebar menu was caused by the workaround I applied no longer being appropriate now that discourse/discourse#30277 has been reverted. I removed my workaround and so everything should now be back to how it was originally.
