My project

I am making a new project, please give advice and code.

Thank you

Is that socket on a GFI breaker? I believe that code requires GFI on any socket near water.

GFI = Gross F*^%ing Incompetence?

Instant 'hot' water?

How does ‘all’ the water leave the sink through that tiny drain.

Shouldn’t it be on the bottom, just thinking.

We use these on the bottom of our sinks to keep the water in until we need to drain the sink.

Perhaps that's just the overflow outlet.

Moderator, please move this to “Project Guidance”.

OP, you have enough posts by now that you should have read:

Please describe the goal. Better information from you enables responders to give more focused help.

Can you provide make/model number/perspective drawings of all the components?

This may be more appropriate in 'gigs and collaborations'. Just sayin'.

Can I nominate my M-I-L as a tester?

I was just kidding, QUICK, move this back to the BAR. :blush:

Please describe the goal.

It is clearly a rig for collecting a certain volume of water. When the water reaches the outlets all fuses will blow and the pump stops. Quick solution.
Or.... is it a device aimed against mother in law?

Possibly a water level indicator, would terminals be connected to analog input or digital input on the Arduino ?

Wonder if Perry will be making a 220VAC 50Hz version too ?

Is he maybe making a water heater or possibly a ‘heat sink’ ?

Cannot make it out in the image, has he included a grounding strap connection on the input control valve ?

There are way too many questions that need to be answered, Perry, help us help you, please supply more information.

This looks like an xy problem.

++Karma; // To everyone!

Yesterday was my aunt's funeral, she is the last surviving member of the generation above me, which is both scary and upsetting.

This morning I checked and found all the silliness on here and it really cheered me up, especially the move to a different forum section and back!

Thanks everyone!

(BTW, the photo was just some random thing someone sent me on WhatsApp)

Sorry to hear about your aunt.

Similar situation here a few weeks ago, my aunt was 96.

Problem is the generation that was older than ‘us’ is now all gone, it’s ‘our’ turn now.

Let’s all have fun while we can.

Hi,
Sad to hear..

Now..
Is this a bit too much lateral thinking for your rain gauge problem?

Tom... :slight_smile:
