Nano 33 IoT is not recognized in windows

Hi

I got a new Arduino Nano 33 IoT , Nano 33 ble sense (Original). On my windows 10 computer with the same DATA USB cable. it only detect Nano 33 ble sense and does not detect any usb board when i connect The Nano 33 IoT board.
I purchased them 4 days ago and got the chance to test Nano ble sense and was able to upload sketch from the example menu in IDE.
However, both of Arduino IDE and Arduino create cannot find the board and the LED is On on the board.
I did the double press on the reset button but it didnt do the trick and the led light is stable not flashing.

To detail the situation, I made a recording and uploaded to my youtube account. here the link.

Please, on your computer turn the volume high so you can hear the windows notification sound when I plug / unplug the first board ( Nano 33 ble sense). and when I plug the Nano 33 Iot nothing happen except a green light on the board.

Hi

Please , can you check the link again

Thank you

If you plug your Nano 33 IoT into your computer, then press and release the reset button on the Nano 33 IoT twice quickly, does the "L" LED start pulsing?

It is not blinking.

Was the Nano 33 IoT board detected the first time you plugged it into your computer?

No. Windows did not detect any USB hardware.

When i plugged the Nano 33 ble sense while IDE still was open. A new window poped-up with a link to download Arduino SAM boards (32bit ARM cortex-m0+). Version 1.8.5 installed.

Does Windows Device Manager show anything under COM ports ?
You may need to enable "Show hidden devices"

i just uninstalled all the old com ports and started from zero. Under device manager , it shows only com port 3 Nano 33 ble sense.

Here attached screen capture

Hi there,

I am having exactly this issue at the moment. I have an Uno which shows up in the device manager & works fine with IDE, but also a Nano 33 IoT which I purchased at the same time which just doesnt show up. 2x LEDs both working fine, pulsing when double pressed, but no comms with Windows at all.

Just wondering if you ever managed to find a fix or is it just a faulty board?

Thanks!

Make sure the USB cable is completely plugged into both the Arduino board and the PC.

You may have a damaged/defective or charge-only USB cable. Try a different cable.
