Hi,
I have problem with the Arduino nano, for some reason this does not work with the nano FTDI driver. I read on a website that I need a ch341ser chip-set, does anyone know where a I would find reliable version of that driver? Any help appreciated.
Tom
If you actually look at the chip, how is it marked? If it says FT232, you need the FTDI driver.
If not, you have a clone and need to find the driver that goes with the chip. Check the board supplier's website.
O.k. so looking at the reviews from another website it says it needs the chip-set. The website I bought it from says nothing! The chip itself says "Atmel Mega 328p AU 1451" and that is it. I think should probably just buy original Arduino boards in the future.

Arduino Uno uses the Atmel ATmega168 or ATmega328, so there is no problem with that. As CrossRoads said above you need to check the usb chip which is located at the bottom side of the Arduino nano.
