Hi guys
So I have a school project with the topic "smart home"
My idea is to make a home made smart door lock. To open the door, the user should enter a password. If the password is correct, then the locked door will be open by itself. If the password is wrong, then the alarm will start to make sounds.
Can you guys tell me what stuffs I really need for my idea ?
As long as I know, I need a 3x4 keypad button, an alarm, and a motor to open the locked door.
Please help, I'm newbie around 
p.s. : I need to make this project as low cost as possible
