New to all of this

I recently learned about arduino from an engineering friend of mine at work, and I have begun the initial stages of educating myself... I am a sound guy by passion, and I have been designing all manner of extreme low frequency sound systems (>20,000Wrms car stereos) for 30 years now.

I have been an electronics hobbyist for a long time as well, acquiring microminiature soldering instructor status while serving in the military. Despite all I have done with power, I know where my skill set ends, and that's why I am here. My late brother passed when his ea-6b crashed during a training mission last year and I am building a theme car to honor the fallen heroes of the military. I want to take this build to another level all together and arduino can do what I need.

So please forgive all of my future stupid questions, because I will have a lot of them while I get smart on how the programming side works. I am not a stupid guy and I will learn. Thanks in advance for all of your help.

Areas I am most interested in: real-time

interaction with sound/movement/heat

Multi-stage DC actuation with limiter/speed control

Synchronization of both of these to music/sound tracks

Welcome to the forum,

Best to start by going through the tutorial section to learn the basics of the Arduino language how things are done. Most sketches (as we call the programs) are small and relative easy to understand but if questions arise feel free to ask as there are many that will help you further.
