I've been working on this project ever since I got my first Arduino board, 3 years ago. Even tho it's still not finished (mainly due to the financial reasons) I want to share it here - maybe someone will want to build one ;). So basically, I've noticed the lack of full-featured open-source MIDI controllers. By full-featured I mean everything a DJ could need, like pushbuttons, potentiometers, LED indicators and rotary encoders. I wanted to push it further and do some nice vector design for the plate. After that I saw the need for PCBs, so I designed them as well. As you can see, everything is build from scratch, mostly without any past experience with vector software or PCBs in general so that's one of the reasons for slow progress (it's one-man project after all). So anyways, here are some pictures of it:
Design is mostly Traktor DJ inspired, since it's my software of choice. Code is done and it's working as intended - only thing that's left really are PCBs.
